Colin Elmhurst

Colin earned an Master of Divinity in Counselling from Tyndale Seminary. He is a Certified Professional Counsellor with the Professional Association of Christian Counsellors and Psychotherapists and Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. In addition to Christian perspectives, he utilizes ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Nature Therapy in individual care, while utilizing Gottman Method and Prepare-Enrich for couples. In practice he is generalist but works exceptionally with men’s issues, sexual issues, behavioural health, and Obsessions and Compulsions. Colin charges $160 for individuals and $180 for couples.

Elza Manukian

Elza Manukian is a Registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She holds undergraduate degrees from Tyndale University and the University of British Columbia, and received a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University in New York City. Elza specializes in working with various types of trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, as well as other challenges, and her experience also includes working with first responders, military members and veterans. She offers the integration of faith into therapy sessions for those seeking this. Elza uses her training and experience in various therapy modalities (CBT, CPT for PTSD, DBT, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, among others) to integrate different techniques and approaches into therapy, ensuring that therapy sessions are individualized and best meet each person’s needs. She offers individual sessions both online and in-person in Newmarket, Ontario and charges $160 per session.

Sarah Nichol

Sarah Nichol is a Registered Professional Counsellor. She employs Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing when helping her clients. She also uses Observed & Experienced Integration Therapy as a somatic-based therapy for trauma, which is related to EMDR. Sarah integrates Christian faith to practice when appropriate for the client’s needs. Sarah describes that her own practice is informed by humanistic, client-centered, and existential therapies, and has also has lived experience with mental health. Sarah sees clients in-person in Comox, BC, and offers Walk & Talk as a format for individual therapy sessions, while offering online counselling services to individuals located in British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, North West Territories, and Yukon. Sarah charges $115 for 60-minute therapeutic counselling sessions and offers a sliding scale where she is able to.

Antonella Finateri

Antonella Finateri is an Occupational Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist specializing in Christian faith-integrative psychotherapy. She takes an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approach to psychological matters, and involves the faith of her clients wherever possible. She treats behavioural health matters, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief/loss. Her work can be claimed under both Occupational Therapy and Psychotherapy categories in extended health benefits plans. She works both online and in-person from Whitby, Ontario, and charges $150 for her individual sessions or on a sliding-scale based on income.

Ian Ridpath

Ian is a Level-2, ABC (Association of Biblical Counselors) trained Biblical Counsellor. He is passionate to see men restored to the wholeness that God created them to be including being the Spiritual head of their households. Ian counsels from the Bible as the sole source of truth in all the affairs of man and believes that Biblical counselling has a significant impact on the overall
mental and spiritual wellness of his counselees. He is an active member of ABC and adheres to their beliefs and philosophy of Biblical counselling. That is, that the Bible is the most reliable place to find real and sustainable help for the human condition. His theology is based on sound reformation doctrine in terms of salvation, sanctification and glorification. His targeted Biblical counselling always begins with determining the vertical relationship of his counselees with Christ. His belief is that all horizontal situations in life, have a vertical, God-centred component to them. Besides his activity in ABC, Ian attends annual conferences of the Canadian Biblical Counselling Coalition (CBCC) and is active in monthly counselling meetings through the Biblical counselling ministry of his church. Ian is married, and he and his wife are both active in Biblical counselling ministry. Ian is an elder in his local church and active in men’s ministry, prayer ministry and other church activities. He charges $85 for an hour of his biblical counselling care.

Manon Wascher

Manon Wascher is a graduate of Yorkville University‘s Master of Arts in Counselling program, and is experienced in Christian Counselling. Manon takes a spiritually-informed approach to counselling, often utilizing Christian spiritual practices such as prayer and contemplation as therapeutic interventions. Manon otherwise utilizes cognitive-behavioural therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as her psychotherapeutic modalities. Manon sees her individuals and couples out of Montreal, Quebec, and is able to see clients online across Canada. Manon is able to provide her counselling care in both English and French, and charges $150 per individual, and $160 per couples session.

John-Paul Austring

John-Paul is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist who provides biblically-based, holistic, strength-based, compassionate, and social-science-informed counselling care. He has received formal education in psychology, social work, and theology, each perspective which he brings to practice. John-Paul works with presenting issues of: depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, conflict, meaning-searching, and achieving goals with over 10 years of experience. He is provincially registered in both Ontario and Nova Scotia. He counsels individuals online across Canada and in-person in Ottawa. John-Paul charges $180 for a therapeutic hour of his therapy care.

Samuele Bariani

Samuele is a Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO and graduate of Tyndale Seminary‘s Master of Divinity in Counselling (Clinical). He works with individuals, couples, youth 12 and over, and families, with particular attention to family conflict. For individual counselling care, Samuele specializes in trauma, PTSD, and men’s issues but also works with anxiety, depression, and other common presenting issues. Samuele employs a mixture of contemporary cognitive-behavioural therapies such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy with narrative approaches and is able to integrate matters of his clients’ personal faith into the counselling conversation. He offers his counselling services in-person in Toronto, and online across Canada. Samuele charges $170 per session for individuals, and $200 for couples’ or family sessions.

Amanda Van Noppen

Amanda VanNoppen has a Master’s degree in Mental health Counselling and is a Registered Psychotherapist and a Certified Canadian Counsellor. Amanda specializes in working with those with complex developmental trauma, substance use or addictions that is linked to past experiences, grief and anxiety. Amanda uses modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Narrative therapy, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is also happy to integrate Christian faith in her practice if that feels helpful for the individual. Amanda is based in Ottawa, Ontario, and charges $160 for individual sessions, $180 for couples, and provides virtual and in-person walk and talk sessions. Amanda’s treatment sessions are a therapeutic hour of 50-minutes in duration.

Ellen Reimer

Ellen is a Certified Life Coach and Registered Professional Counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counselling Association (CPCA). She practices Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to address issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, boundaries, communication, identity matters, and women’s issues. Ellen’s passion is to assist women in finding their passion, and guide them to walk in love and wisdom. Ellen charges $150 for a therapeutic hour of her individual counselling care, and $175 for couples. Ellen can see clients remotely or from Kelowna, BC.

Josh Song

Josh is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and received his graduate degree in Clinical Counselling at Tyndale Seminary. He offers trauma-informed psychotherapy that is integrated with spiritual perspectives to individuals and couples. Josh’s approach is grounded in using evidence-based treatment methods and has received professional training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals and couples in addition to utilizing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. Josh charges $150 per individual and $180 per couple’s therapy session.

Heather Lehman

Heather has earned a BA in Psychology and is certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counsellors. She has attended Heritage Seminary completing courses in the Biblical Care and Counselling graduate program. Heather is also completing a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counselling at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. She currently serve as a Biblical Counsellor at her local church in addition to insured private practice. Heather’s biblical counselling care is appropriate for matters of depression, anxiety, marital challenges, self-harm, anger, addiction, betrayal, abuse and more. Heather sees individual women online and in-person in London, Ontario. She charges $90 per session of her biblical counselling care.

Eric Bouwman

Eric Bouwman is a Registered Psychotherapist and graduate of Tyndale Seminary‘s Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling program. Eric specializes in anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and anger management, even though he is able to help counselees with a wide range of presenting issues. Although he leans most heavily on Cognitive-Behavioural techniques, Eric takes a psychologically-integrative approach to his counselling care, borrowing from various modalities to help his clients in their own unique challenges. Eric charges $150 per psychotherapeutic hour, and his credentials are held in Ontario. Eric sees individuals and couples, both online and in-person in Ottawa.

Bobbi Van Brummelen

Bobbi provides compassionate counselling for individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. She also supports clients working through disordered eating patterns and deeper questions about purpose, meaning, and spiritual wellbeing.

Bobbi offers faith-integrated counselling, thoughtfully incorporating spiritual beliefs into the healing and growth process in a client-led and respectful way. She welcomes clients from all backgrounds, supporting each person at their own comfort level.

Her approach combines practical tools with reflective insight, drawing from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Existential Therapy. With a background in fitness, health, and wellness, Bobbi takes a holistic view of mental and physical wellbeing. She brings both professional training and lived experience, meeting clients with empathy, authenticity, and steadiness.

In addition to counselling, Bobbi offers life coaching for clients who want to gain clarity, set goals, and move forward with greater purpose and balance.

Bobbi charges $120 for an hour of her counselling care.

Peter Frieswick

Peter is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the CCPA. As someone with a long family history in Christian ministry, Peter enjoys working with ministers, missionaries, and their family members. He is a knowledgeable EMDR Certified Therapist with a gift for integrating a Christian perspective into therapy, for those who want it. Peter charges $160 per therapeutic hour (50 minutes) for his psychotherapy support, and his credentials are held in Ontario. Peter’s practice serves individuals seeking counselling in person or online.

Andreia Barreiro

Andreia is a Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario and graduate of Tyndale Seminary‘s Clinical Counselling program. She uniquely brings a strong Christian perspective and to her psychotherapeutic work. Andreia is well-able to work with: anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, spirituality, self-esteem, transitions, and grief. In addition to lens of her Christian faith, she is trained in Cognitive-Behavioural, Dialectical-Behavioural, Emotionally-Focused, and Solutions-Focused psychological perspectives. She counsels in both English and Portuguese. Andreia charges $180 for a 50-minute individual session, and $260 for an 80-minute couples session. Her services are available online within Ontario with a particular focus in the GTA, or in-person in Oakville. 

Brian Alton

Brian Alton is an experienced pastor and counsellor professionally certified with the Association of Biblical Counsellors. He has received education in pastoral ministry from Briercrest College & Seminary, and counselling equipping with Gospel Care Collective and the Christian Counselling & Educational Foundation where he earned a certificate in Foundations in Biblical Counselling. He counsels in both English and French. Brian charges $90 for an hour of his biblical counselling care for individual work, and $150 per hour for couples work with accompanying $75 individual sessions for each partner. Brian Alton offers his biblical counselling care online, or in-person in Montreal, Quebec.

Hannah Brown

Hannah trained at a masters level as a biblical counsellor with Dallas Theological Seminary. She has since implemented what she’s gained in professional development in psychology as a Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO and as Certified Professional Counsellor (CPC) with PACCP. Her passion is to integrate faith and theology to practice and has demonstrated expertise with issues such as: depression, anxiety, addictions, abuse, spirituality, eating disorders, and relational boundaries. Psychologically, she integrates a Cognitive-Behavioural and Adlerian perspective. Hannah charges $185 for an hour of her psychotherapeutic care for individuals online or in-person in Ottawa, and her credentials are held in Ontario.

Sandy Boyachek

Sandy is a graduate of Heritage College and Seminary‘s Master of Arts in Theological Studies Biblical Counselling program, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western University. She has undergone world-class continuing education with the Christian Counselling and Educational Foundation in counselling, and holds credentials as a Certified Biblical Counsellor with the Association of Biblical Counsellors. She identifies specialty in ministry families and in supporting newcomers to Canada. Sandy charges $120 for an hour of her biblical counselling care for individuals and couples online and in Brampton, Ontario.

Laure-Marie Carignan

Laure-Marie is a highly experienced counselling clinician. In addition to her graduate and doctorate-level education at Saint Paul University, and graduate theological studies at SEMBEQ, she has spearheaded more than a few Christian counselling clinics and community counselling initiatives. She currently acts as clinical director, educator, supervisor, and continues as a direct counselling care provider. She has world-class expertise in: trauma, psycho-spiritual development, couple and family development, Aspergers syndrome issues, and couple and family intervention. She prefers experiential and narrative approaches with couples and families (emotion-focused therapy and encounter-centered couple therapy) while using cognitive-behavioural, narrative, and family-of-origin perspectives in individual counselling care. She counsels in both English and French. Laure-Marie charges $185 for an hour of her psychotherapeutic care, and her credentials are held in Quebec.

Andrew Peterkin

Andrew is a Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO and graduate of Tyndale Seminary‘s Clinical Counselling program. He has a passion for writing and the arts, as well as marginalized communities. He works within a social-contextual, Cognitive-Behavioural and Solutions-Focused perspective and specializes in working with individuals from diverse walks of life. Andrew’s credentials are held in Ontario but he can see clients from across Canada virtually at $135 per session for individuals, $150 per sessions for couples, and $215 per session with families. Andrew also works on an income-geared sliding scale as needed.

Jillian Mahoney

Jillian is a graduate of Saint Paul University and Carleton University. She is an affiliate member of the OAMHP, and a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO. She has professional development training in: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma. She works within attachment, cognitive-behavioural, and family of origin perspectives. She has a passion for children and youth. Jillian charges $175 for an hour of her psychotherapeutic care. Jillian’s credentials are held in Ontario.
